MY Awesome LIFE!
After worship service on yesterday, I was fashionable late for brunch. So, i connected with some friends and associates at a cake tasting. It was the perfect day for an outing with some friends we laughed and took photos (action shots). Dinner at another restaurant I have been wanting to visit. Great and of course they thought it was a " jacket required" establishment. One of my friends alleging that is all I do. Later that evening we went to see a great movie American Violet. So, I say that it is that time of year to begin to grab those essentials that I may have talked about once before that you will need for the colder months. Why now? Because they are putting these things on sale and you can find them for pennies. Literally! Bloomingdale's sales things for a penny. I am telling you.

It is very important you learn how to get a table at these great restaurants. How I know that the garden is opening and will be present? I frequent these restaurants.

OK! Here are the two ways to get the table at Le Cirque and other fine eateries.

1. In case of an emergency embark on a little story. The phone is one and going in person is another. However, you might have to slide the host or hostess a little cash. It works. It really does.

2. Become a regular! You don't even have to go for dinner. Just go to have a Shirley Temple. They will love you. Tip well. Always!

Has Spring Sprung?

Greetings ALL,
With the longing for cabriolet weather envelopes us, I am also twiddling my thumbs for the crisp evenings to divorce us.

Well with all that being said it is time for Spring Cleaning!! Yeah! YEAH! YEAH! As people of class and stature. We need to do a few things in preparation for the warmer weather.

Closets( dressing rooms) are the first things we need to do or in my case hire someone to assist. This is very important. When purging your closet, as you should your cell phone. Get rid of things that are no longer being worn. IF you didn't wear it last year get rid of it.

I DO NOT TRASH clothes. I donate or give away. I have an associate that loves my shoes. It really makes me happy to see him getting good use out of them. Besides they are great shoes. Now if they not comfortable or they're not drop dead one of kinds, to good to be true shoes............................ they gotta go! LIG................ LET IT GO!

Speaking of shoes, I recently purchased some shoes from the Gucci Outlet!!! Hmm .....Many of you didn't even know there was one. HMM! Nevertheless, these shoes are great. I will post pics later.

While you're cleaning, rid yourself of ANGER! The end result will cause you to want cosmetic surgery.

Lent is almost DONE!

Well, I must say that this is the first time that I have ever been able to do this ( Give up shopping for Lent). I will say that I did break, but not like I have in previous years. Thanks for the support and prayers.

Now here we are.

On Sunday, I had taken brunch with a few friends. I had invited two friends that arrived before me and my other friends were present already. So, respecting the almighty Iphone , I used it to communicate with the two that arrived before me to connect with the other party that was very early.

Much to my chagrin, when I arrived the two that were to accompany me opted to establish themselves at a separate table. Whoopsy! That is a definite NO! I was saw floored. I had to play love to two parties.

What should one do in this situation? You already know!

Now you know I am one for easily living. I recently learned about Verizon's new home phone.

OK!
I almost got caught with my hand in the Herme's jar. I went to an Herme's sample sale. I had this wonderful cashmere hat in my hands. Then I received a phone call from a friend, that reminded me that I was giving up this task for Lent. I got out of line leaving this wonderful hat for someone well else that has no regard for the poor soul that had to depart without his hat.

Well when it is over,..... I am going straight to Herme's. Nevertheless, I have been really good and have saved a bunch of money. Even got that Neiman's down...... now it's minimum payment is just a car note and not a mortgage payment.

Oh by the way, I apologize for the absenteeism. I have joined everyone else with the Facebookness. I affectionately call it CRACKBOOK!

Did I tell you that I allowed my passport to expire. What an experience. Truly! I'm no longer held captive to this great country. It is truly a freeing experience to have a passport. Confession of a Shopaholic!

I am admitting that I am the above. Recently a very good friend of mine has ushered me to participate in Lent. Although, I am not catholic. I do believe in the art of FASTING! I do believe that we all should fast from something, cell phones, computers, television, coffee and shopping.

Well here is the meaning of Lent.
Lent is a forty-day period of time that proceeds the Catholic holiday commonly called Easter. During this time, observers tend to give up something they like (such as a food, like meat or certain meals or a form of secular entertainment, like television) essentially as a form of "fasting" for the purposes of getting closer to God or for penance.

So, the author of this blog started late. Now here it is! I started last Sunday. There I was standing in line with 2 great fitting shirts, a cashmere turtleneck(blue). I don't have one; and it was only $20. The prices were great. Wait, I forgot to mention the beige and white polka dot scarf and this funky black and neon green jacket. To match these sneakers. The Grooming Process II

Here we are after this major snow storm in the Northeast and a tad bit in the Southeast. Nevertheless, I am a survivor. I didn't suffer from cabin fever. I decided to assist the middle schooler who asked to shovel my snow. He did a fine job. Hey it is recession!

I was telling you all about the grooming process. Many of you asked about the process I endure. I was a little floored, but I said, "Hey I am here to assist." I take a bath at least once a week and a shower everyday. I had to say that before some of you get the wrong idea.

I use Dial or good Ole's fashion Ivory. I don't care for those soaps that have a lingering fragrance because I wear colognes. I don't want anything to clash with my fragrances. Makes basic sense.

The face.............. Simple! Step one. Cover my face with black soap until it dries. Then I rinse with a another soap from C.O. What a restful week it has been. I know many of you are chuckling. Keep all the wonderful comments to yourselves. Last week,I decided to break my four day fast of no shopping and go to The Barney's Warehouse Sale.
I acquired some wonderful little keepsakes. I am a slight fan of the Benjamin Bixby line. I also really enjoy Rod Keenan hats. I truly recommend that you take a look at his collection. I also purchased some boots nice black ones. http://rodkeenannewyork.com/

Now back to the business at hand. Many of you are always wondering what my oral hygiene regime consist of. Have I ever had braces? NO! Have I ever had professional whitening? NO! I am just simply blessed with great oral hygiene. It runs in my family. However, the process is serious. Here it is.
I use Listerine to start, then Listerine Whitening, then brush with two different toothbrushes and two different toothpastes. I never use the same toothpaste after completing it. I change it! However, the same toothpastes are always being used. Example............ Brands A,B, C and D. If D has been finished then I will go to brand B. You got it. This works for everyone! I am a telling you. OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH! Flossing is key!

Also, have those dark grey fillings replaced. Nothing like smiling or laughing and see the results of your candy addiction.

Also, lip balm is very important. I never leave home without, pen, lip balm, Amex, debit card, keys and license (identification). If you need recommendations for lip balm just email me. I have tried them all, even Prada's.

The events that are outlined this week have been................. a little boring. Many Fashion Week events are always grand and packed with lots of activity. However, I am sadden by the lack luster. Nevertheless, I have a few photos of some of the activities. I hope that you all enjoy them.

John Legend, performed at Radio City a week ago. He did an awesome performance. Thanks to a very good friend of mine, who acquired the passess. Its good to know people and be loved by them. You know a lot people and not one of them love or like you. HMMMM!

What to Do When You Live in a Shoe?

What do you when you live a shoe? This could be taken in many ways. One way it can be interpreted as living beyond your means. These economic times have had a hit on many of us. We all know at least one person that is not doing as well , because of job loss.

As I have stated I have cut back on the dining out. So, I cook at home. I have commenced to cook for a couple of friends that I know that have been hit by this unfortunate state of the world.

So, we are sacrificing in many ways. However, I must say that I am exhausted with people being afraid to flaunt wealth and fashion like it is the spawn of satan. RELAX, the good book even says do all things with moderation. I will return to this soapbox later. However, I have not endured many years of educational chaos to achieve this life that I prayed for to be dismissed. Understand that I have always been the one to give back more than I should. So, this is not something that I am going to be a part of.

Here is a little tip for shopping. Shop inexpensive for trends. Invest in good stuff that is timeless.
When most of us think twice before buying something new, it's wise to shop for quality investment pieces that will look good for several seasons. And that is where many bargain racks come in, for real.

Get a head start on the looks for the Spring. Pink is it, ladies!

What is a Friend?

Good A.M.,
I am a true advocate of the Fall and Winter. One because I was born in the greatest month of all. Secondly, you could truly absorb a person true since of style during these colder months. However, I am exhausted with this snow. Its enough to make me drink Pomegranate juice without a straw.

Well, on during one of my many cabin fever episodes. I commenced to meditate on the importance of friendships.
What is a friend? So, I decided to look for a meaning of what I thought a friend is and should be. After reading a plethora of meanings I completely and totally agree with my friends from Wikipedia, ( friend used very loosely). Here is what we say a friend is.

Friendship is a term used to denote co-operative and supportive behavior between two or more people. In this sense, the term connotes a relationship which involves mutual knowledge, esteem, and affection and respect along with a degree of rendering service to friends in times of need or crisis. Friends will welcome each other's company and exhibit loyalty towards each other, often to the point of altruism. Their tastes will usually be similar and may converge, and they will share enjoyable activities. They will also engage in mutually helping behavior, such as exchange of advice and the sharing of hardship. A friend is someone who may often demonstrate reciprocating and reflective behaviors. Yet for many, friendship is nothing more than the trust that someone or something will not harm them.
Value that is found in friendships is often the result of a friend demonstrating the following on a consistent basis: the tendency to desire what is best for the other, sympathy and empathy, honesty, perhaps in situations where it may be difficult for others to speak the truth, especially in terms of pointing out the perceived faults of one's counterpart
mutual understanding.
In a comparison of personal relationships, friendship is considered to be closer than association, although there is a range of degrees of intimacy in both friendships and associations. Friendship and association can be thought of as spanning across the same continuum.

I usually never use the term best friend. Yes, I completely understand that BFF is cool to say. How should your other friends feel when you are not placing them in that same category? Well, with all that being said I just understand that there are different friends for many things. You are a multi faceted person. Therefore, you have friends for many things.

Similar to those non platonic relationships they need to be nurtured and cared for as well.
You are probably saying, "Mr. Cosmo, How do you nurture a friendship?

1. I send little personal notes to them. Yes, I write personal notes.

2. Yesterday, I sent this little message via text" If you threw a party, and invited everyone you knew. They would see the biggest gift would be from me; and the card attached would say, "Thank You for being a friend!"

Life is a wonderful thing. Be honest and understand that these friendships needs to be nurtured.
So, drop the BEST and be the best you can to yourself.

I had an absolute awesome weekend. I attended this great birthday celebration at an associates home. Very nice event. I was totally impressed and had a great time. While out shopping on Saturday. I tossed on the above jacket. It was the rave for all onlookers/gawkers. (Please disregard the backdrop! My dressing room was in a slight disarray.... Hey I had a full weekend.)

I havent attended a house event since the holiday season ;so it has been a long time. When you attend a party it is imperative that you always take something. If the invitation states a dish, then oblige. If not then you must not enter or even imagine going without a beverage. The rule is to bring what you consume. It is declasse' to bring a beverage that you dont prefer and you are seeking the host last bottle of Grand Sie'cle. If you are not the invitee of the host, ask the person with whom you are attending about the invite.

When entering plaster a smile on your face and immediately look for the host to offer salutations. While entering remembering faces of those that you have made eye contact with. I call this when four eyes make two. This is the person that you will converse with immediatley. If you become nervous remember a few topics to initiate an exchange.

0. Your schelp to the party. ( Parking, commute to the event, something you experienced on the way.)

1. Sports - almost everyone likes some kind of sport.

2) Hobbies

3) Weather and climate being experienced

4) Your respective spouses and children(do not brag)

5) Media - such as television shows, movies, or music that both of you may like.

6) Holidays that you think the other person may enjoy (but refrain from talking about how much your holiday cost you - unless the other party brings it up.)

7) Your respective hometowns... Are you from ...............?

8) General information about the occupation of each person. (intro........... Are you in same occupation as ................................(the host)

9) Current trends in art or fashion.

10) Gossip about famous people. ( Keep in comical and not insulting)

Hopefully all these tips will allow you to have an easier time looking for a small talk topic.

Be well-read and well-informed about a host of topics. You have heard it said that it pays to read a lot and it is true - if you know a lot about different topics, you can easily conduct a conversation with people from different backgrounds. It will not be so hard to find a small talk topic then.
Keep the flow of the conversation on a casual keel. You might panic if the conversation takes on a very deep tone, such as when you are talking about politics or business, because then it becomes harder to find common ground that you can agree. Topics should be light, hopefully cheerful, so that you will be able to bond better with the other attendees.

Avoid controversial topics. Controversial topics might only put the other person on the defensive. Also, you and the other person might be on opposite sides of the issue.

BOW TIES AND POCKET SQUARES! etc. etc. etc.

As you all know that I am an advocate of the bow tie. I'm not going to go into full details about why. I have done that before.

Nevertheless, I am telling you all that men must wear a pocket square when wearing a suit or spot coat. It just takes the sport coat to another level. A level that many are fearful of. I have acquired more than 100 pocket squares and bow ties.

So, I say all this to beg of you to learn to tie manual bow ties and invest in pocket squares.

Etiquette 101 ............. CELL Phone Usage

Don't you just hate it when people are on their cellular phones,and speaking as if they learned how to whisper in a helicopter.

What prompted this post was while waiting taxing on the aircraft this guy next to me whips out his cellular phone and commences to have a full blown out meeting. Everyone in the entire aircraft could here him even in coach.

So, what I did to quail his verbal blog. I started chuckling. That got his attention. Then I just plastered an innocent smile on face and he got the message. So, here are a few rules for cell phone usage. TAKE NOTES!

2. One was just stated.............. Never use your phone at a dining table.

3. Try not to use your phone while on a date, or even text while the other party runs to the restroom. They will assume that you are checking in with someone else.

4. CHURCH, masjid, synagogues, weddings, theaters, funerals,.................. Your phone should be on silent.

5.Allow your calls to go to voice mail when handling transactions.

6. If you are in the presence of a group you do not have to answer the phone all the time. Just simply excuse yourself. My all time favorite is stop nursing your phone while out with friends. You are at a lounge and you go into withdrawl because your phone is not lighting up like the Vegas strip. Just get over it. ABSORB THE MOMENT!

I needed a little break from the cold of the city. So, I decided to do a little schelp to the subject matter. What a joke! The flight was really crowded. However, It was a pretty smooth one. Thank God!
I have come to the complete and total understanding that the economy has had an impact on all of us. I have become bff's with my crock pot and my housekeeper has been placed on sebactical.
I say all this to support that even Miami has had cut backs. Legendary night spot Mansion made an attempt to get $70 for entry to a half full venue. Prive' had more black jackets than patrons and Jerry's ( the diner or Collins) was empty as well. Tomorrow is another night and day!

Greetings ALL,I hope that this wonderful day has found you and your loved ones happy and pleased with all the world has offered. I am presently examining the DVR of the events in Washington D.C.
Now to the good stuff. LOL! I was asked to participate in a photo shoot.Hey given the fact that I was not asked to participate in the inaguration. I leaped at the opportunity. It was one of best I have done.There are few photos posted.
Someone recently asked me about cardigans. I used to loathe them. I could not understand the purpose. Now it is one of my favorite items. Really it is. However, everyone can't do them. Please stay in your lane. There is a certain attitude that must be established when wearing one.
I was in Ralph Lauren recently and one of the employees complimented me on my full length shearling. She said, "Not everyone could wear that!" She then went on to share that wearing Ralph Lauren is a lifestyle. I concurred. Some of you have still not gotten that embedded in your thoughts. Fashion is a lifestyle not something to toyed with.
OK! OK! I will simmer. I don't want to establish a somber moment on this great day. Ciao! ALways remember that "fashion is a luxurious necessity!"

That's right! I am back. I was meditating on the fact of whether I wanted to keep this blog going. WHY? There were so many faux bloggers who thought that they had what it takes to do my thing. Nevertheless, I am back .
I have read some blogs that are just trash. I mean they are chatting about frivolous things like BBQ's ( WHO EATS THERE?! !!!) I would not be caught dead in that spot. OH BBQ's is a place where people like to eat in the city. See how nice creatively stated this not so fine dining establishment. WOW ! I am a mess.

Christian Louboutin is having a sale. 40% off. Hey,! it is a recession. Nevertheless, I am done for now. I have to run to the gym and get my spiritual, mental and physical in place. YES! YES! YES! YES! For the the first time in my entire life I have had to cut back. Yes, I mean it. I know many of you are laughing and wondering what in the world is he rambling about. I am going to share with you some of my cut backs.

Yesterday, my first weekly visit to the mall. I didn't purhase a thing. I didnt even go into Ralph Lauren. I didn't even make and attempt to do anything other than walk by my favorite stores. Now you all are wondering, " Is he ill? Should we call the paramedics?" Put down your little cellular phone.

1. I have decided to only purchase things that are on my want list. By creating this want list with every thing I want from the mansion to the GT contiental. Really if it is not on my list. I am not going to purchase it. Regardless of what price it is.

2. Many of you know that I am jean fanatic. I own well over 60 pairs. So, what I have done was find really nice ones at UNIQLO for about $50 bucks. They are the best fitting jeans I own. I am serious.

3. Craiglists and Ebay are the best. Anything that you are not using or wearing sell it! Why are you holding on to it? Really lets be honest. If women could use their former engagement rings for car payements you could sell one of those watches you are not wearing.

4. Finally call stores and find out when things are going on sale. EXAMPLE NEIMAN's is doing a great sale on FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What in world is going on? It has been a world wind. I cant stop the social life and networking. I am not bragging but I am just sharing. I am very apologetic for not telling you all about the sales that you all missed. Here are some suggestions on a few things the men need to learn to do before the Presidential Inauguration. I will be there. I have posted a few pics of me wearing Thom Browne to the polls. After the election, I had to stop by crash pad in Harlem and freshen up.

Enough about that. It is time to tell you all about certain things you must stop doing.
1. Please stop using words or phrases that are infantile to refer to bowel movements.
ex. doo doo, pee, piss, dookie) Classless and immature. We are all adults.
2. Yelling (talking on the cellular phone) while conducting business.
3.Using the N word (It's an Obama NATION)
4. Telling people you have to do a bowel movement.
5. Stop going to people's home without a dish or beverage of some sort.

I would like to apologies for the lack of communication with you all. What would you all like to chat about. I am not getting into the political arena. You all decide on your own ideas.

Now,Im on a mission to tell you all that it is imperative that you get your social, fashion, financial, spiritual lives in order. Look who is talking. LOL!
Not in that order, but these areas must be addressed.

What annoys me the most is seeing men and women with a designer purse or designer shoes and they dont have the essentials.

So, I suggest that you get your jeans in place. You should have at least the best style and colors in place. Please disregard those little Ed Hardy jeans and those jeans with apples or the rear end (ladies).

White shirts! Gentlemen, we are not going to purchase anymore t shirts from a package with fruit on them. I am huge fan of a particualr brand. ( not 2xist).

Moreover, women notice, and will reward you accordingly. Now, all of us engage in some form of proper grooming and hygiene – we brush our teeth, shave occasionally, wash our face from time to time, and clip our nails when we remember. We're going to talk about the basics as well as other stuff that may not be on your radar.
Never underestimate the power of scent. Cologne is very effective if used in moderation–your body chemistry will enhance it further. This is why the same scent doesn't have the same smell on everyone. The basic rule is that if someone who's 5 feet or more away can smell you, you've put too much on (right now, you're probably thinking to yourself that you put on too much this morning). A couple of squirts should do it, so:Apply cologne to either pulse points or body parts with hair. This means applied to your hair, neck, wrists, crook of the elbow, and chest. Pick two spots, because all four can be overwhelming.

Choose a few of fragrances for your repertoire. Get a lighter one for the office and daytime and a muskier one for going out in the evening. Never mix the two. You'll want to use the lighter scent more in the summer months and heavier one in winter months.

Finding a scent that works for you is a matter of personal preference and research. The popular ones like Davidoff's Good Life or Calvin Klein's Contradiction may not work best with your body chemistry. If you're not sure what smells good on you go to a department store or some place like Sephora and try some different ones. If in doubt, ask a beautiful woman for her advice.

I hope that you had a wonderful Post Fashion Week. I did. Well on yesterday I celebrated my b day in worship service. GREAT! I had a few friends to attend with me. We then had dinner and a movie. We saw Lakeview Terrace. I would like to thank all of you that attended my gatherings. It has become tradition to have more than one event. I frimly believe that everyone should have at least two gatherings for a birthday. You must have two dates to try and accommodate those that cant make it.

I was getting my biweekly manicure and pedicure on Saturday, afternoon (Upper Westside) . In saunters these two women. They were adorned with all types of little familiar brands. They seem to carry on in such a manner that was totally classless and comical. I was totally amused. As I was navigated to my next station to clip my claws, ( I cant fathom the thought of me having fingernails.) I noticed one of these over thirty women examining my red Goyard man bag. Funny. They communicated via text about it.

Then one mustered up enough courage to whisper," What kind of bag is that?" I almost choked. WHY? Here it is these women wanting to be noticed in this salon, where they possibly viewed everyone else as being subservient, but are not well versed on the oldest monogram house in the world. Holy Moley. Needless to say, I educated them and them and gave them non abrasive instructions on how to acquire a piece.

See, I told you all that if you stick with Mr. Cosmopolitan he will not navigate you wrong.

At last we chatted about VMA's. I gave you all the heads up about last week. I attended more events than you could attend. I love and adore fashion. I like the shows, but I enjoy the after parties. They are always filled with people trying to get in and I just whizz on by like a charted jet heading to St. Tropez. ( FYI) You need to get passport.

I carried my man bags. I carried my Goyard messenger, Vuitton Nolita and my wonderful little red Goyard that was hit at the Baby Phat show. The cameras were flashing like it was New Year's

It all started last week. Here we go. I am just going to post one of the pics that was taken after the dinner party pre after party for Baby Phat.

Where do I begin with that photo? First off the bag was custom made by Hermes specifically for Pharrell, with Jacob encrusting the key chain. Secondly, it's "Haut A Courroie" the original Birkin bag. Pharrell won't go into detail on the price of the custom made bag. He merely states "that's tacky". He only discloses that it's price tag can be compared to that of a Mercedes. Nevertheless, he has six of this same bag in different colors.

WHile doing the blog from yesterday. I was on the telephone with another guru. We were debating bow ties over neck ties. I prefer bow ties. However, I have some very nice neck ties.

This is what I said to him about bow ties.
I like them becasuse they are charismatic it has long been the tie of choice for discerning gentlemen who want to stand out among the crowd. Commonly worn at cocktail parties and formal black tie affairs, bow ties in eye catching colors and playful prints are also worn by men in collegiate and creative professions. No matter what the occasion calls for, a good bow tie always adds the perfect touch of whismy to a man's wardrobe.

SO, I was in the Ralph Lauren Polo Mansion on yesterday. I haven't been there is years. That Black Label is simply awesome. I saw this wonderful black sweater that I need in my life. Nevertheless, I refuse to pay retail. The mark up is so intense that when we purchase it at %85 off. We beleive that is a great deal. That is truly the cost of the merchandise with a small profit margin. We all knwo that but, I just refuse to pay retail knowing they go on sale. ( Goyard, LV and couple others dont do sales).

This season establish some fashion/ apperance goals. 1. Do not wear your cell phone 2. Do not wear your Bluetooth. Now there are the first two. Ladies and Gentlemen.

My weekend started early, last Tuesday. Really it did. I was at Nikki Beach, Mansion and Marquee. I have not done hopping like that in months.

Thursday! I almost forgot to tell to you that I went to this event in Newark NJ. Its called Sounds of the City. This is my second time going and each time, I slip by right before I go to NY.

There was a lot chat about my first ensemble ( I don't believe in outfits) I wore a pink and green sport coat by Lilly Pulitzer http://www.lillypulitzer.com. Dangerous.

I saw everybody and their cousins wearing Prada sneakers. Make a note to self. Prada sneakers are only to be worn for errands. THEY ARE FINISHED. Please do not make the mistake of wearing them to complete your ensemble. It is over. Do not buy another pair to wear as if they are the only sneakers ever. I will tell you that you must invest in a pair of Dsquared or those lovely Lanvin sneakers. ( I love the Vuitton sneakers as well).

Friday, I went to this new ( four months old) restaurant called Elizabeth. Its on Elizabeth St. , LES ( Lower Eastside). Saturday I had to go Stamford for business ( none of yours). While there I schelped over the "mall". The Saks there didnt even carry men's shoes. After the great lament. I went on to Brooks Brothers.

Now, allow me to share with you that I love a good polo shirt, and I must say that They make a great polo. It comes in different fits. I like the slim fit. I am a huge fan of POLO, by Ralph Lauren. However, I just like Brooks Brothers' polos. They make excellent t shirts as well.

I got a great manicure and pedicure. That's a bi weekly thing. Ladies please respect the men that really get it done. This is must have. Do you really want a man who chews his nails? Major love to those that agree. For the rest of you............ Love ya and maybe you will catch up. IT s called CLASS!

I also purchased last week, another LV belt, DAMIER GRAPHITE. I love it. When I signed for my purchase the young lady attempted to sell me pen. I had my MONT BLANC pen. Hold on for a minute. Please tell me that you all have purchased a good pen. Maybe a good $20- $30 pen. PLEASE it is the worse thing you could do to yourself to have on nice or decent clothing and use a public pen to sign for your purchase or check. THE WORSE IS, " DO YOU HAVE A PEN I COULD BORROW!?" I never loan my pen. People walk away with them.

You all better get ready Fall is coming quicker than ever. I have not been one for the major LOGOS but it appears that they are coming back with a serious purpose. Here is one that I will have in my closet very soon.

Also check the sweatshirt that Vuitton is doing. Also layering is going to be it for the Fall. Make sure that you do the scarfs and get those sunglasses in place. Metal frames are not the best in crisp weather. However, if you are driving it is doable.

Hey Everybody!
Hope that your day is going great. OK! let's talk a little bit about jeans. I think this icon of fashion is as important as your educational background. OK! I am clowning. Nevertheless, they are very improtant to everyone's wardrobe. I have a friend that still calls them dungarees.

They comein several style patterns and colors. Many shades of blue. Yow should own at least five pair in different colors and ten pair in blue.

Here are three ways to wear them.( BLUE)
Casual Clothes
Since darker denim tends to look more formal, try a lighter pair. Keep the shirt tucked in at all times. Unless you are removing your blazer or sportcoat.

WITH LEATHER!!!
A black or brown leather jacket will pop if you had on a lighter shade pair of jeans.

FLIP FLOPS and A T SHIRT
A nice white tee shirt with a pair of jeans that have some distressing is a great look.

I could on about jeans, but I need you request suggestions. LIKE right now, I am totally into jeans that have 2% lycra or stretch. NICE FIT!

Greetings,

I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend. I did. I have been trying to get some sleep for days. Sunday, I met some friends in the city (NYC). I had peel them from stools of the MERC Bar. We then treked around the corner to the Mercer Kitchen. I haven't been there in a million Summers. Nevertheless, I had the goat cheese and beet salad and my entree was the roasted chicken. One of us had crab cakes. She appeared to enjoy it. WOW~!
Great!

Mother's Day is here and I would like to suggest that you do a hand written note. EVEN if your hand writing is horrible. The words that will be viewed as Cantonese will be all the worth it.

Here we are! First allow me to apologize for not posting in a while. I have been consumed with a lot of things. Neverhteless, I am a SURVIVOR> this post is going to be filled with a bunch of little tid bits.

1. MAN BAGS!

Yes this is serious term and it has been coined by every major department store and designer. What is a Man BAG? OK Stop LOL!

A modern man needs a bag to carry all his gadgets. He has his cell phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses, PDA, iPod or MP3 player, and gym pass and try not to forget something. A man bag is an all purpose bag or satchel designed to be carried and used by men. It tends to be somewhat larger than a lady's purse, partially to eliminate confusion between a man's bag and a women's hand purse. The bags are quite handy, allowing men to carry an assortment of necessary belongings throughout the day without having to use an informal backpack or an overly formal briefcase. Several designers offer variations on a man's bag.

As a general rule, a man's bag has a single large strap so that it can be slung over the shoulder. The larger size often accommodates a laptop, large books, or necessary files and papers. One common variant on the man purse is a messenger bag, a type of bag commonly used by bicycle messengers and postmen. Messenger bags can be quickly accessed because they have wide openings, making them very convenient for people in a hurry.

When a bag is consciously designed as a man bag, it is usually kept simple, so that it will be unobtrusive on the wearer. Men's bags can be made from nylon, leather, cotton, and canvas, just like women's, but they tend to be designed in more subdued colors and styles. If the bag does feature embroidery or a design, it is usually in the form of the manufacturer's seal or logo. Extraneous buckles, zippers, and straps are also kept to a minimum.

Although some people find the concept of a man purse laughable, satchels for men can be extremely useful, and some women use them as well. The large size accommodates a range of items which would otherwise have to be carried by hand or in an assortment of awkward bags. Objects like wallets and cell phones can be stored in inner pockets so that they will not destroy the line of a nice pair of pants, while the user can also store things he or she might need to use over the course of a day.

Now I use my bags for many things. I have my agenda, laptop, glasses, sunglasses, phone, wallet, ipod, BIBLE, digital camera( you never know if you have to catch news) and business cards.

Now for all of you that drive just toss it in hte back seat and go. Commuters, you got to get one . WHy? It's all about the look.

You will be in complete awe, the reaction you get if you get rid of the brief case adn step it up to a man bag.

As many of you know I am a metrosexual. LOL!
Yes I am firm believer that men should take care of themselves. I learned this at a very early age. Big shot out to my mother. Oh! By the way, I am going to an Herme's sale tomorrow. So, what am I going to purchase? LOL! So, I am a huge fan of Molton Brown lotions. No longer should we use Vaseline to get rid of the ash. That's totally unacceptable. I say all this to say that you need to invest in a good face lotion.

Now, I went to a great party on Saturday night. The venue was nice, but the people were a little under my age. Why is it that the under thirty people feel the need to be so impressed with themselves that it is crazy. They couldn't even dance. Look, I am like this, you have a good hour to take photos of me and stare at what I am wearing, before I start sweating and thinking of something else to dive into while pelvic thrusting my way to a dance spot.

No seriously, I live my life like I am dancing and nobody is watching.

I will chat more about my vacation out of the USA!

Here is some information to get you all started on the PASSPORT PROCESS!

Please call the National Passport Information Center at 1-877-4USA-PPT (1-877-487-2778) to schedule an appointment to apply in person at a Passport Agency (please see note below).

If you have already applied but will not need your passport within the next two weeks:

There should be no need to contact us at this time. Our goal is to make sure that no one misses a trip. We have added staff and are working overtime across the country to achieve this goal.

Checking the status of your application: You can check the status of your application online. Currently, it is taking 5-7 days for applications to be tracked online. It may take less time if you paid for Expedite Service and sent your application via overnight delivery.

This is for us!
I don't appear to be a KNOW IT ALL ABOUT EVERYTHING! However, I do know one thing .. fashion and "THE GOOD LIFE!"

Disregard everything you heard about being a metro sexual. Real women love men that are clean cut. My mother always said," Don't no woman want no man with no RUN over shoes!" Then my godmother would chime in with.." NO dirty nails either!"

Allow me to share a few things that you need to do tomorrow.
1. Get A PASSPORT! Start the process! YOU are prisoner of this country! You can't even go to Canada! WHEW! Had a great time in Montreal!

2. Carry a Pen! ( You should never sign the check with the basic bic. Women love men that pull out... a good pen.) I have a small collection of Mont Blancs and Cartiers. However, invest the 20 bucks and get a Cross from Staples. It will save you time. As you get use to carrying it, invest into a more exclusive one.

3. Get on SOME VITAMINS! FLAX SEED please! ( post about that! )
There are so many things that I am about to land on you all that is crazy.

Here are some rules:
* Jerseys are to be worn only at sporting events!
* Once you get that passport, being on vacation is no excuse for ignoring intelligence and wearing bad clothing.
* Stop going to go to the airport like you are traveling in a motor home. Sweats are for the gym! ( LADIES YOU TOO! I KNOW YOUR ARE READING!)
* Always sit up! slouchers appear to be slackers!
*BUY a pair of Stan Smiths they look great with a suit in the Summer.
* VELOUR IS DONE!
* Learn how to tie a tie and bow tie!
* Khaki is the color. Chinos are the slacks/pants.
* A good timepiece is essential to a man's life and wardrobe.
* CROCS... ARE you a chef? If the answer is no then.....
* STOP HAVING SUPERBOWL OR FIGHT PARTIES AND ASK PEOPLE TO PAY A COVER. IT IS YOUR HOUSE. YOU INVITED THE PERSON! WHY ASK THEM TO PAY???? THAT'S CRASS! Just ask the guest to bring something.

THis is my 100000 millioin cents! HEY it is what it will be!

Really quickly,

An associated of mine wanted a jeweler to purchase his lady a ring. ( ANOTHER STORY... I will go into that later. OH well. Here we are too many people want to be married but dont want to fall in love. When was that last time you heard someone say they want to fall in love? ) Ok ! I went there. So, I suggested to him a local jeweler in Jersey. He was elated and go a lot more ring for his dollar or should I say thousands.

BY the way Pedicures are all year GUYS and GALS! Men should get them just as often as women. Nothing is worse than a man with long nails,

This weekend I didnt do much at all. Major love to all those that thought it was wise to spend yesterday hutning for "SALES". It wasn't a great day for that at all.
Many of you have asked me for spots to hang out in the city ( NEW YORK).
I will tell you that the weekends are consider to be B&T crowd. I just can't be bothered. Nevertheless, you hit the city around 8 pm on a Friday and or Saturday and you could have a good evening early morning. TRAFFIC FREE!

Oh by the way heading from NJ I like the Lincoln Tunnel better. I will tell you why later.

OK! Friday night, Buddha Bar is cool. It's a restaurant'lounge. The funny part is you have get passed the velvet rope. NO! I am not going to to tell you the owner's name or the host's name.

You could also do Tillman's. It's a nice Harlem speak easy.
165 W 27th st. Near FIT. NICE! Speaking of Harlem take the Westside Highway and get off at 125th and make your way to AMY RUTH's nice real nice.

If you are in the mood for some old school classics ( POP, R&B and HIP HOP!) The Canal Room THE FREEDOM PARTY. You could dance for hours.

Bowling at Chelsea Piers is even nice on the weekend. SHHH! Keep it a secret.

This all started as a passion for fashion. Don't laugh. I am very serious. My friends ( males and females) always asked for my opinion on fashion. My biggest supportor, is my Pina' . You will learn more about her as we communicate. It is my true belief that it is just not about what you are wearing but how you wear it.

For example, I have met men who would buy Brioni suits and then get the basic alterations done. That's a huge mistake. Then I know guys that buy a very inexpensive suit and get the proper alterations done and look amazing. True!

There are so many things that I want to share about my thoughts on fashion and being a gentleman. Instead of me just chatting about them let me share with you what we are going to discucss.
